In Berkeley, California, fencing coach and international athlete Ryan Arieta missed his opportunity to join the Olympics in Rio in 2016 due to an injury. Today, the driving force in his career is to prep his young students to pursue their dreams of competing in the Junior Olympics.
"[Fencing] is the highest form of competition...It's all on you: Win. Lose. Mess up. Do great. It's all on you. That's my favorite part, and that's what keeps me still competing," says Arieta.
